NRA Certified Trainers
To qualify as an NRA Instructor:

Trainers must possess and demonstrate a solid background in firearm safety and shooting skills acquired through previous firearm training and/or previous shooting experience. Instructor candidates must be intimately familiar with each action type in the discipline they wish to be certified

Trainers will be required to demonstrate solid and safe firearms handling skills required to be successful during an instructor training course by completing pre-course questionnaires and qualification exercises administered by the NRA Appointed Training Counselor.

Trainers must satisfactorily complete an NRA Instructor Training Course and receive the endorsement of the NRA Training Counselor conducting that training.

Onyx Concealed Carry Handgun classes are specialized for small groups with individual attention. Our classes allow a ratio of one instructor per 2 students. We are dedicated to instruction in skills, knowledge and responsibility to those who live according to the 2nd Amendment. Our goal is to give specialized instruction to those who desire a strong degree of competency in using a firearm. This is a must for those who desire certification for an Ohio Concealed Carry License or Permit.
You will attend Onyx training at our own range. We will provide everything you need to gain confidence and ability, knowledge and safety when being certified for your Ohio Concealed Carry License.
A major plus in attending our Concealed Carry Classes? When you have gained your certification, you can return for more training from our instructors. Any type of review you may need, we provide free of charge. We also have other specialized classes available.
The Owners and Instructors of Onyx Concealed Carry Ohio support Breast Cancer Survivors and are offering free certification training to the first 100 registered survivors. A short story. A friend of ours found three boxes of 22 ammunition in his home. He took them down to the fire department, who told him they could not accept them because they had no way to dispose of them. He called three other fire departments and finally found one that would take them.
Instead of trying to find someone to take your ammunition you no longer want, CALL ONYX. We have places in the Columbus and Knox County area for you to drop it off. We will either recycle or dispose of the ammunition for you.
