Women's Concealed Weapon Empowerment Course

 

Onyx Girl’s Day Out is a class specially designed for women who have always wanted to learn the very basics on handguns, self-defense, and the sport of shooting. This is very special class that prepares you for your Ohio CHL Permit.

 

A portion of this class is taught indoors while the latter part of the class takes place on the shooting range. You will shoot various calibers of revolvers and semi-automatic handguns to get the feel for the various sizes and types of handguns.

 

Everything needed for the class is provided including handguns, ammunition, targets, hearing and eye protection – even lunch.

Skills taught in this class include:

 

• How to safely handle and store a handgun

• How to assemble and disassemble a pistol, their parts and operation

• How to select the proper ammunition and different types of ammo

• How to shoot in different positions and proper handling techniques

• How to interpret the rules and regulations of Ohio’s current gun and self-defense laws

• How to properly keep a pistol in the best working order

• How to select the proper holsters and carry the pistol

• How to best protect yourself, your family within and out of your home

• What States presently have reciprocity (something you must ALWAYS stay current if traveling to another State)
