Am I a gun nut? My answer to the liberals who judge me.

I have friends that are liberals, and I have more than once engaged on my opinions about the way that they seem to be obscessed with the current presidential situation.

Usually I engauge in a very light opinion, because I know I will be immediately attacked .

I recently defended myself by saying that I thought it was unfair to be called an ass and everybody who voted for Trump was an ass just because a certain person did not like the current president, I think it's a broad statement to call everybody a name out of profanity just because you don't like who is currently in office .

I Was not even defending Trump, my point was that I don't feel that if you have a problem with the current president that you don't have a right to be foul and profane towards everyone who voted for him, in my Opinion that makes you a very arrogant and hateful person .

I have also defended the Second Amendment many times, and then unilaterally been called a gun nut by the same group of people .

Just because I believe that this country and all of the mass murders are not the guns fault, I still to this day Believe that if all guns were removed from the equation, and always will truly believe that if somebody wants to murder people in large groups, if we had removed all the guns they would still find away just as easy as firearms .

So let's get back to the Guns, am I a gun nut?

There are many people who do not like guns, they don't understand them. But they have interest in things like cars, playing poker, tennis, football, cross dressing, collecting spoons, you get my point .

Everyone has interest in something, but it seems Liberals have a strong distaste for firearms .

I am not a prepper, I am not a psychopath who thinks that this shit is going to hit the fan, because seriously if I was , I would not collect tons of guns, I would actually have very few firearms that are designed for the purpose I would intend to use them, and I would collect ammunition .

I am fascinated with the skill of competitive shooting, no different than any other sport .

I am also fascinated with the math and skill of long-range shooting .

I am fascinated with ballistics .

I am very happy to challenge myself in this area of sport competition .

I guess I just get tired of being called a gun nut because people see what I do, it's a very narrowminded tunnel vision that they want to see

The reason I love firearms is the same as a historian loves history, to me to further explain it it would be a war historian of sorts .

I love automatic weapons, because of the history behind them, their intended purpose, and watching them progress as weapons over the years .

I love firearms of all kinds, and my fascination with them is throughout history watching firearms change, be redesigned for each intended purpose .

From the desert Prairie, the cowboy days, throughout each war that this world has ever fought , I not only love Guns, I love the history behind them .

When people see someone with the capability of owning for automatic weapons, they automatically assume that they are insane.

Just because you don't like something or it's not for you, does not give you the right to label other people without their knowledge of them entirely .

There are many people like me and that is who I defend . Not everyone who has an interest in firearms is some crazy prepper who lives out in the middle of the desert inside a tunnel with paranoia .

Just because something is not of your interest, I cannot understand the hatred that liberals seem to possess when they gang up on others .

It's like they feed off of each other and the fire keeps getting burning hotter and hotter .

I have good friends that will read this and probably get angry, which is not my intention, my intention is to point out that it always seems like when one person has a different belief, when liberals are together they seem to get more destructive , opinionated, rude, and validate each other .

I recently told a lady who was attacking me by calling me profanity because I voted for tromp that half the Country voted for him and he won. The response was that he lost by a few million votes of the popular vote, my point wasn't really about the exact numbers, when you're talking millions and millions of people I did not realize that I had to come up with an exact number to make a general statement, the point is we believe in our system, or we don't.

So the answer is yes I have guns, but to me it is a sport, and a history, as well as a passion ..

It is not a obsession to be used against me in a negative way, and there are millions more like me so do not label us all in one basket .
